Backwards Behind

I sail with ship wrecked from the outside
With broken sheaths and hollows divide
Destroyed by seas, ruined in surprise
What the past brings, now ever sublime.

I sail upon the water reversed
With nowhere to go but here, astern
Upended as tides swiftly turns
It offers neither an exit, nor a return.

I sail what these memories had brought
Should I escape, no one had thought
For I, alone, can't escape the ride
The ride that brings me backwards behind.

I sail the ship afraid to fall
Once more in this ever altered world
Since knowing the right direction
Doesn't always make up the correction.

I sail the ship worn out by time

To conceal those scars left by
Is it so hard to possibly
Redo the things that were meant to be?

I sail the ship barely knowing what's right
Not to ponder or wonder what the past foretold
For it will bring nothing like delight
But keep you from your destiny's divine.

I sail the ship wtih new fortitude
Steering the wheel towards the right azimuth
Aboard with me a tale untold
As it breaks loose in a cage once closed.

My Journal

To live this earth
and land anew.

Thy cherished memory,
begone from mind.

Where things took place,
hope's never gone.

To live this earth,
make a writing place.

It's Time

As the circle
tick tocks
the final minute,

I lay buried
in soft sheep as pillows.

They say
prepare to escape
in another lit.

My eyes
slowly arced,
they long bellowed.

The Beauty in the Eyes

Can I compare thee
to a lovely tree?

Over the roof,
its blossom shall be.

Rather ugly
as lost ducklings
finding beauty.

Not equal in my eyes,
where you stood.
Undeniably.
